Our Warmth & Wellbeing Cafe

Warmth & Wellbeing Café is coming to Walthamstow! ☕️

We are working with @astongrouplondon, to launch a free weekly café to help local residents stay warm, connected and supported this winter.

Taking place every Friday, 10am-12pm at the Waltham Forest Community Hub, 18a Orford Road, E17 9LN. The sessions will run from Friday 4 December to Friday 18 December 2026. Supported by @cadentgas @warmwelcomeuk
No appointment needed, everyone is welcome!

Gary Lambert-Snaith, CEO of Waltham Forest Community Hub, said:

“We know that winter can be a particularly difficult time for many local people. Rising energy and household costs can leave residents facing tough decisions, while others may feel increasingly isolated.“The Warmth & Wellbeing Café will provide more than somewhere warm to sit. It will offer practical advice, useful household items, hot drinks and, just as importantly, friendly conversation and a sense of community.

“We want the Hub to be a place where local people know they will receive a warm welcome and can access the support they need.”The initiative forms part of Waltham Forest Community Hub’s wider work to improve health and wellbeing, tackle hardship and ensure that local residents can access trusted support within their community and work towards ensuring the Hub is more accessible. The café is supported by the Hub’s work with Aston Group, Cadent and Warm Welcome Spaces.

Visitors will be able to enjoy:

  • Free hot drinks

  • Advice and guidance on staying warm this winter

  • Free slow cookers and carbon monoxide alarms

  • Friendly conversation in a safe and welcoming community space
