about us

Our charity vision is of a strong community that is united through inspiration & innovation.

We are a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. Our home is a 19th Century locally listed former school building, set in a conservation area. Our primary purpose is to provide and facilitate development and support services for the local community, in particular services for young people and senior citizens.

Waltham Forest Community Hub is managed by a board that consists of committed trustees.  Elected councillors further support the board.

Our building is used for community development and engagement activities and is available for public hall hire to help secure much needed revenue. We provide responsive services for the local community and are committed to developing cohesive communities and our services are available to all. Through our partners we are able to offer services to Waltham Forest's diverse communities.

We currently offer youth clubs; mentoring and employability support for young people aged 11 - 19 years and seniors clubs and telephone befriending for older residents.  Our face-to-face activities are currently suspended due to Covid-19 but we are offering support remotely.

2020 has been a challenging year however we have received an overwhelming amount of support. Its that kindness which has allowed us to continue to do great things and help those who truly need it.

Have a look at what we've achieved in the year 2020.
