How the funding will be spent
Waltham Forest Community Hub will continue to provide a service for the most vulnerable young people and senior citizens who reach out to us. Your donations will help our team to stay in touch with these people in need and give much-needed support through one-2-ones, youth provisions, employability support, Housing advice, a senior lunch club and numerous health and wellbeing activities across our services. We also arrange emergency supplies for those isolated at home and signposting to other community services available to them. So far, we have helped over 300 local vulnerable residents. Please help us, help more people.
How this will benefit the community
Our services will help support young people, and senior citizens as well as provide a much-needed Housing Advice Service across the borough of Waltham Forest. We provide lunches at the majority of our youth provisions. This service will also benefit senior citizens, especially those who are on their own and isolated. We'll offer regular contact through our weekly activities to give residents of our local community a link to the outside world and shopping deliveries for emergency items and signpost to other services in the borough.
