What are your office hours?

Our office is currently closed but we are responding to emails to info@wfchub.org. We are taking enquiries for bookings in 2021.

Who sets up the tables and chairs?

It is the hirers responsibilty to set up and clear up the tables and chairs.

Do you provide catering?

We can provide refreshments for meetings but unable to provide event catering.

 

Do I get any free time for setting and clearing up?

Yes, you are given 30 minutes setting up time and 30 minutes clearing up time for one off bookings only.

Do you provide discounts to local residents?

Unfortunately we are not able to offer discounts to local residents.

 

We do offer a 20% discount off the hall hire charge to registered charities and voluntary organisations/community groups.

What is the parking like?

There is no parking available on site. If you hire the venue for a one-off booking and no-one else is using the building, the forecourt at the front of the building may be used for parking. There is on street parking aorund the building but please check restrictions in advance. There is a car park at Walthamstow Central station, 10 mins walk away.

What is the capacity of the hall?

The hall has a maximum capacity of 180 people seated; 200 standing.

What is the size of the hall?

The size of the hall is 20 metres in length and 10 metres in width.

What kind of tables/chairs do you provide?

  • 25 rectangular tables – Size: 6ft x 2ft

  • 25 round wooden tables – Size: 5ft in diameter.

  • 200 cushioned banqueting chairs

Are fireworks permitted?

Fireworks of any kind, inc sparklers are strictly prohibited in or around the venue.

Do you have a music cut off time?

Yes, as we are in a residential area, we must ask you to switch off your music promptly at 11pm on Mon to Thurs and Sunday. On Friday and Saturday evening, you can have music on until midnight but we politely ask you to turn it down at 11pm.

Can I decorate the hall?

We are happy for you to decorate the hall but must ask you to ensure walls/paintwork are not damaged. Please do not use pins or sellotape. Use of blutak is acceptable.

 

Please note that we do not allow use of helium balloons.

Can I throw confetti?

Sorry but confetti is not allowed anywhere inside the building. It is also not allowed in the carpark or the back court yard.

Who cleans the hall after my event?

The hirer is responsible for tidying the hall after an event, please leave it as you find it. You will need to bring bin bags and cleaning materials please.​
